Katherine Dickey is a seasoned trial attorney with a diverse legal background, dedicated to pursuing justice for her clients. With a unique blend of experience in both criminal defense and insurance defense, Katherine brings a well-rounded perspective to her practice.
Prior to joining Connecticut Trial Firm, Katherine spent a year at an insurance defense firm, where she gained valuable insights into the inner workings of insurance companies and the strategies used by civil defense attorneys to evaluate cases and build defenses. Her work there also involved collaborating closely with expert witnesses on intricate medical malpractice cases.
Before her tenure in insurance defense, Katherine served as a criminal defense attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia from 2014 to 2022. During this time, she independently represented individuals in a wide range of legal proceedings, including jury trials, felony bench trials, and misdemeanor bench trials.
Katherine’s commitment to the legal profession went beyond her caseload, as she simultaneously held the position of supervisor and instructor for the Villanova Law School criminal defense clinical program. Her passion for teaching and mentoring underscored her dedication to making the legal system accessible to all and ensuring that justice prevailed, especially for those who had been wrongfully injured.
Outside of work, she finds joy in spending quality time with her family, immersing herself in the great outdoors, indulging in music, both as a listener and a player, and cherishing the simple pleasures of life.
