Doe v. Cochran

Plaintiff contracted an STD from her boyfriend as a result of the defendant, a physician mistakenly informing the plaintiff’s boyfriend that he did not have any STDs. The court found that the plaintiff was owed a duty of care from the defendant as an identifiable third party victim of the defendant’s negligence.
